Einige Werksradios haben ein integriertes Diagnosesystem, welches die hinteren Lautsprecher abschaltet, resp. den Fader im Radiomenü deaktiviert, sobald die Verbindung zu den Lautsprechern unterbrochen wurde. Der Adapter N-A480DSP-ISOFAD simuliert dem Werksradio einen korrekten Lautsprecheranschluss und überlistet somit das Diagnosetool.
